We’ve always been fans of the farmers’ market. There’s a sense of community and an appreciation of hard work, quality goods and skill upon which it thrives. And, everyone at the market is in a good mood.

For years we’ve talked about setting up shop and participating or even opening a brick and mortar cookie shop. But, the holdup has always been the math — at the scale we’re able to produce goods, the profits don’t cover the time and effort invested.

Participating didn’t make financial sense for us. (We realize lots of great small vendors make money; This isn’t a knock on them. Support your local, small producers.)

But, can we still be a part of a good vibes market if it’s not about money? That’s where it all added up.

Being a catalyst for small acts of kindness is a currency we can get behind. And we love baking cookies — Dugood gave us a way to make it official.

With the help and support of our board members and friends, the non-profit Dugood Cookie Company was formed to spread kindness and generate mindfulness across our community.
